Dropshipping & Supplier Integration

We strongly recommend keeping dropshipper integrations to a minimum in the early stages of the IKIGAI launch. A leaner supplier base allows for tighter quality control, cleaner brand storytelling, simpler fulfilment logistics, and a more refined customer experience while the brand establishes itself.

It is also essential that each chosen dropshipper offers a readily available Shopify plug-in or extension for native integration. This ensures reliable product syncing, inventory accuracy, and order routing without the cost and fragility of bespoke API development.

Initial suppliers proposed for integration:

  • Hill Interiors dropship platform.
  • Artisan Furniture API.

The two suppliers listed above are our initial recommendations and can be substituted or expanded based on product fit, supplier reliability, and Shopify integration availability.

Ongoing Costs

  • Shopify subscription (monthly, paid directly to Shopify).
  • Transaction fees (Shopify + payment providers).

Payment Terms

  • 50% deposit required upfront to secure the project and commence work.
  • Remaining 50% payable at 6 weeks from project commencement, or prior to the website going live (whichever comes first).
  • Project timeline begins immediately upon receipt of the initial payment.
  • The 6-week schedule reflects the time allocation reserved for this project. If the project extends beyond the estimated timeline, no additional charges apply for extended time; however, payment remains in line with the agreed schedule.
Section 12

Client Responsibilities

To ensure delivery within the estimated 4–6 week timeframe, the client agrees to provide:

  • Timely provision of all required content, assets and product information.
  • Prompt feedback and approvals at each key stage.
  • Clear, consolidated communication where possible.
  • Access to any third-party platforms, accounts or supplier systems.

Delays in providing the above may impact the timeline. While we will remain flexible and supportive, the agreed payment schedule will remain in place.
